Phone Usage

Dial the international access code:

• On a cell phone, press and hold 0 until it turns into a + symbol.

2. Dial Mexico’s country code:

• Mexico’s country code is 52.

3. Dial the number:

• If it’s a landline in Mexico:
  • Include the area code (usually 2 or 3 digits) + the local number.
  • Example: +52 669 (Mazatlán area code) + local number.
• If it’s a Mexican mobile number:
  • Add a 1 after the country code (for mobile numbers only).
  • Example: +52 1 669 xxx xxxx

Examples:

• To call a Mazatlán landline: +52 669 123 4567
• To call a Mexican cell phone: +52 1 669 123 4567
